Speaker 1:

We could change the world if our communication skills were better. Why is that so hard for people? Just say what we mean and mean what you say. I feel like a lot of the times we don't really listen because we are listening with a calm back already ready in our mind which tells me that we're not really listening, because you have your own voice in there playing defense. If we learn to compromise with one another, we can have result-focused pieces of communication with another person, and if we at the very least see the other person as a human being just like us, as opposed to dehumanizing the other, I mean that right there, that's the goal. Right, and the let go of past hurts, because grudges never help with communication. Communication could fix so many issues if we do it correctly. The theme for the month of August for have a Cup of Johnny podcast is communication.
